On January 4, 2014, Strategy Committee of SPA at SWJTU was founded in Chengdu City. Vice president of Institute of Administrative Sciences （IIAS） Wu Jiang, vice president of Chinese Institute of Administrative Sciences Gao Xiaoping and 14 notable experts on public administration from Peking University, Qtinghua University, Renmin University of China, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Nankai University, Jilin University, Southwest Jiaotong University and so on were offered appointment as members of the first Strategy Committee of SPA at SWJTU. President of SWJTU Xu Fei attended the appointment ceremony and issued letters of appointments to honorable members. President Xu Fei looked forward to SPA’s cooperation with academy circle of administrative science to promote strategy development of relating disciplines.
It is said that the establishment of Strategy Committee at SPA is to meet the need of perfecting the school’s developing mechanism and improving the operating level of school’s education. Strategy Committee at SPA would collect and gather target resources home and abroad, which is beneficial for promoting working on strategy design and query of discipline construction, talent introduction and internationalization so as to realize SPA’s development by leaps and bounds.
