KANG Li (1979–), male, from Nanchong, Sichuan, doctor of laws, associate professor, master supervisor, Assistant Dean of Southwest Jiaotong University School of Public Affairs & Law, member of Chinses Law Society, Standing Council Member of Constitutional Law Research Society of Sichuan Law Society, and an expert of Chengdu Legal Expert Database.
Study and work experience
From 1998 to 2002, majored in law in the First Law Department of Southwest University of Political Science and Law, and obtained a bachelor's degree in law;
From 2003 to 2006, majored in procedure law (orientation: criminal procedure law) at Southwest University of Political Science and Law School of Law, obtained a master’s degree in procedure law;
From 2006 to 2009, majored in procedure law (orientation: criminal procedure law) at Southwest University of Political Science and Law School of Law, obtained a doctor’s degree in procedure law;
Since July 2009, he has been a teacher of Southwest Jiaotong University Department of Law. He has successively served as Party Secretary of the Department, Deputy Director of the Department and Assistant Dean.
In the course thereof:
From July to August 2012, he served as a research scholar at George Mason University in the United States;
From March 2015 to March 2016, he was funded by the CSC and served as a visiting scholar of the University of Iowa School of Law;
From October 2016 to October 2017, he was appointed by the Organization Department of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CCP and served as the Deputy Director of the Institute of Political Science and Law of the CCP Sichuan Province Committee Political and Legal Committee.
